| 1 Long: get | |
| 2 Short: G | |
| 3 Help: Put the post data in the URL and use GET | |
| 4 --- | |
| 5 When used, this option will make all data specified with --data, --data-binary | |
| 6 or --data-urlencode to be used in an HTTP GET request instead of the POST | |
| 7 request that otherwise would be used. The data will be appended to the URL | |
| 8 with a '?' separator. | |
| 9 | |
| 10 If used in combination with --head, the POST data will instead be appended to | |
| 11 the URL with a HEAD request. | |
| 12 | |
| 13 If this option is used several times, only the first one is used. This is | |
| 14 because undoing a GET doesn't make sense, but you should then instead enforce | |
| 15 the alternative method you prefer. |
